IT Tutoring Session (A/L)

Course Overview

Advanced Level IT can be challenging without the right guidance. Our A/L IT Tutoring Sessions provide clear explanations, practical problem-solving techniques, and exam-focused strategies. Students will strengthen their theoretical knowledge, programming skills, and practical applications, gaining confidence to excel in both school assessments and the A/L exam.

Modules / Brief Contents

The tutoring program will cover the full A/L IT syllabus, including:

• Computer Systems & Architecture – hardware, software, operating systems
• Database Management Systems (DBMS) – relational databases, SQL queries
• Programming Concepts – variables, control structures, functions, arrays, OOP (Python / Java / VB / C#)
• Data Structures & Algorithms – searching, sorting, linked lists, stacks, queues
• Networking – network models, protocols, security concepts
• Software Engineering Concepts – SDLC, UML, project planning
• Web & Application Development Basics – HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals
• Practical Lab Work & Past Papers – hands-on coding, debugging, and solving previous exam questions

Certificate

On successful completion, students will receive a Certificate of Participation, recognizing their effort and knowledge gained in IT tutoring sessions.
